Ladyfish Promo Shoot, Photo Gallery Added

I did a promo shoot with the Jacksonville-based band “Ladyfish” on the tenth of November. The shoot took place in the 13th street tunnel in Gainesville (on the UF campus). It’s been a few years since the last band shoot, but it was nice to break away from the “typical style” of shooting. The photos can be viewed here: Ladyfish Promo.

Where to Start.....

Many know that I’ve been studying at Broward Community College in order to transfer to UF. Over the summer I received my AA from BCC, now I’m attending UF and living in Gainesville, Fla.

I’m hoping that in the next two weeks I’ll be able to take some photos of the campus and post them on the website.

I have finally added the Auto Gallery to the new website.

- Oct. 15. Arun Gandhi, the grandson of the late Mahatma Gandhi, did a spoken words presentation here at UF. The stories he told from when he spent time with his grandfather were amazing. It comes to no surprise that Gandhi’s speech reminded me very much of the one that the Dalai Lama made in South Florida back in 2004.

- Oct. 13. I went to the T13C video shoot for their song “From the Stereo,” it was a lot of fun. The only downside to the shoot was the fact that we listened to the same song over and over again for 3 hours. I’m looking forward to seeing the final product.

- Oct. 12. The world renowned photographer Jerry Uelsmann had about 50 pieces of his work on display at the University Gallery. It was truly amazing to see his work in person. His elaborate post-processing always amazed me, but to see the final images in person and see how sterile his work is, it’s mind boggling. After viewing the wonderful exhibit I had the opportunity to interview Uelsmann for an article I’m writing for my reporting class. During the interview I was extremely nervous, I reached levels of nervousness that I never knew existed. In the past I’ve met and interviewed countless musicians such as Vanilla Ice, Art from Everclear, Dickie from the Bosstones, T13C, Against All Authority, New Found Glory, Sugar Cult and Gary Fong, but nervousness and stress didn’t faze me. I was a train wreck when I was speaking to Uelsmann!
